'I create contemporary acrylic jewellery by playing with light, reflection, colour and pattern on strong yet simple graphic shapes. While studying Wood, Metal, Ceramics and Plastics BA (hons) at Brighton Polytechnic from 1988-1991 I discovered the endless possibilities of cutting, texturing and dying plastics. It is a perfect material for jewellery as it is light and comfortable to wear.
Using laser cutting, scoring, dying and polishing in bold designs with simple dynamic shapes, my jewellery has a retro yet contemporary aesthetic. All designs are highly finished to give a precious feel. My jewellery can be found in outlets throughout the UK, and in 2014 a collection was sold at Tate Modern with the ‘Matisse Cut Outs’ exhibition. The British Museum sold a collection alongside the exhibition 'The American Dream: Pop to the Present' in Spring 2017.'
