Paolo Lazzerini
Paolo Lazzerini was born in Tuscany, in the small town of Pietrasanta. Born from an artistic family - his father Bruno was a painter and an international mosaicist, and his sister Giuliana Lazzerini, is a professional painter well known and appreciated in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Paolo trained at the Liceo Artistico and the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Carrara and has won numerous Art Prizes, capturing the attention of critics and collectors alike. Artist Walter Lazzaro took notice of his work in the Galleria Il Traquardo, in Forte Dei Marmi street of the famous 'Marguttiana' - and complemented the young artist. In these years, although very young, Paolo was invited to exhibit in important galleries such as the Accademia of S. Cecilia in Rome, Le Tableau Gallery in Turin, Galleria San Marco of Rome, Ponte Tresa Gallery in Switzerland and Gallery 2000 in Tokyo, Japan.
Although Paolo worked primarily as a professional graphic designer in the 1990's and 2000's - he continued to paint along and has had many solo and mixed exhibitions in Italy at Forte Dei Marmi, Turin, Edinburgh, Yorkshire, Birmingham, Monaco and Cologne. In the last few years his painting has become more intense and we can find him at many more events and exhibitions.
