Natalie Parr

'My work is inspired from living by the sea in the South West of England and the small coastal towns and villages of Dorset and Cornwall. I upcycle and re-use everyday bits and pieces as well as being inspired by the treasures found on my local beaches. I see potential in washed up rusty metal, pieces of driftwood and discarded fishing tackle.

I set out with a rough idea for a piece but find that things often evolve and change as I discover some of my found things that will work well in a piece. I love living by the sea and my days spent searching for interesting jetsam and flotsam.'
